The new luxury Catamaran Athala was specifically designed and built to cruise the Galapagos Islands in style. The Catamaran design provides spacious accommodation, superior stability and meets all the latest safety standards. All 8 rooms on board are deluxe standard, each being spacious with superb furnishings, private bathroom, hot water, air conditioning, large portrait windows (not portholes). All main deck rooms have the additional luxury of a private balcony.
The main deck also boasts the dining area and a separate comfortable lounge area complete with plasma TVs, DVD player, stereo and small library. The upper deck has the bar, Jacuzzi and a beautiful open teak deck area for relaxation, alfresco dining and barbeques. The sundeck is great for soaking up the sun between island excursions and star gazing in the evenings.
There is a crew of 10 + 1 naturalist guide. Your crew is warm, friendly, full time, experienced and highly professional. Your guide is guaranteed to be bilingual (minimum fluent English and Spanish) and of the highest standard.
