Comments and recommendations received on this Galapagos cruise:
Maddy and I have settled back into life in Connecticut after our wonderful visit to Ecuador and the Galapagos.
The big surprise for us was how truly remarkable the Galapagos islands are. We are glad we got to see both the Eastern and Westernislands and, if we were again planning a visit to the islands, we would do nothing different.
Certainly we would not change our travel agent! Everything went smoothly, with only minor disruptions: A bus that wouldn't start, a ferry that slowed to a crawl. Thanks very much for all of your careful and thoughtful arrangements.
I have shared our experiences with two friends so far (Cabot Jaffee and Grant and Audrey MacDonald) and informed them of the quality of your work. I hope something positive comes of that for you.
Good wishes and muchas gracias,
Al and Maddy Lesure,
Dear Mr. Vela,
we are pleased to let you know about our travel experiences to Galápagos and the Selva.
One thing to mention before all: Your tour guide, Mr. Harry Jiménez, is of very high value for your company. He is highly educated, speaks fluently English and most important, has a profound knowledge of all kind of local and global conditions. And what makes him more valuable: he is always very cool and pretty funny, too. We always had the impression that he didn't feel like doing a job, but more so that he felt like being on vacation for himself. Very relaxed!
In general this also counts for the first crew on the ship, who, without any exceptions, was like having fun all the time. Special thanks to Mr. Marvin, who was always trying to do his best possible for the passengers. (A very nice and helpful guy!)
Thanks also to your super well organized airport-hotel and vice versa services. No complaints at all!
Your tour guide, Mr. Edwin, in the Amazon Lodge, also was a special kick for us. We've had a lot of fun with him. (Despite rain and mud!)
All in all a very nice trip which we will keep in good memory.
However, to give you some recommendations: The food on the ship very often could be of better quality. Other passengers were very badly complaining about it. Mi wife and I do not want to spoil our vacation by complaining about the meals. Therefore we simply eat less or nothing, before fussing around and ruining our tour.
Again, thank you very much for letting us have this super nice vacation!

Maria, thank you for helping us plan our trip to Galapalos. It was a wonderful
adventure. We only had 1 day in Quito but we made the most of it with the 5 hour tour you arranged for us. The Petrel was the perfect choice for our 8 day Galapalos cruise. We could not have been happier with your services. You were always quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. All of the transfers and transportation was handled just as promised. Thanks again for making this a trip of a life time.
