Come to the Galapagos
All Inclusive Galapagos Vacation Package
5 days / 4 nights
Day 1: Arrival to Galapagos and Highlands: (L/ D)
After flying to the Galapagos Islands and upon arrival to Santa Cruz, you will meet our staff to start your journey with a visit to the highland region of Santa Cruz, where you'll have your first encounter with the giant Galapagos tortoises in their natural environment. It is also a nice contrast to see another ecological zone on the island.
In the afternoon, is beach time! You'll be in one of the most beautiful beaches not only of Galapagos but also of Ecuador. It has a great environment and wonderful views contributing to make of it a remarkable place. Dinner will be serving at the hotel.
Day 2: Santa Cruz Day tour (B/ L /D)
After breakfast, you will have a full day tour. Depending on the weather conditions, we are going to arrange the best option for you. For these tours, you leave in the morning, lunch will be onboard the boat, and we return to the hotel in the afternoon. Depending on the scheduled itinerary designed by the National Park, we can visit some of the following attractions –
Bartolome Island: This is one of the youngest islands of the Galapagos, and is home to the emblematic Pinnacle Rock. There you can find not only great views, but also the cute Galapagos penguins! Sea lions rest close to the water so you can see them on the land or in the water while you snorkel, and sometimes there are hawks flying around too.
North Seymour Island: Here you will find lots of blue-footed boobies, swallow-tailed gulls, and the archipelago's largest population of frigatebirds. This island is close to Baltra, and because it is very arid there are Palo Santo trees all over the place. The vegetation of these two nice islands is similar due to the fact that both were formed from a geological uplift. We'll have the opportunity to observe the nests of many species up close.
Plazas Island: It has one of the largest populations of sea lions and also lots of land iguanas, which make this island a very special one. It is a very small land mass but hosts marvelous vegetation; for example, you will see prickly pear cactus trees all around. One amazing characteristic is that the groundcover vegetation (scarlet ice plant) changes its color depending on the season – in the rainy season it is green all over, but in the dry season it is purple and orange.
Day 3: "Las Grietas" and Charles Darwin Research Station (B/ L /D)
The day starts with a nice breakfast, and your trip to the Galapagos Islands continues with a journey to Las Grietas, which means "crack" or "crevice" and is a beautiful water canal formed between two cliffs where you can swim or snorkel to see lots of fish in the turquoise water.
After this wet and fun activity, we'll go to one of the most important and interesting place in Santa Cruz, the Charles Darwin Research Station, where you are going to enjoy more about the unofficial mascot of the Galapagos Islands, the giant tortoise. You'll also see lots of vegetation and a fine demonstration of the amazing biodiversity of this side of the island. Lunch and dinner are served at the hotel.
Day 4: Bay tour (B/ L /D)
After breakfast, we have a very enjoyable day. We will discover several beautiful beaches along the coast of the Galapagos Islands, where we will see more of the many pristine landscapes and different species that characterize the islands. We can swim among sea lions while snorkeling and see hundreds of tropical fish and some marine turtles. If you don't feel up to the aquatic activities, you can relax on the sand while you soak in the sun with a pleasant view.
Day 5: Transfer out to the airport (B/ L/ D)
After breakfast, our staff will transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
