New Galapagos Boats for 2018 and 2019

Outward bound for 2018 are five new luxury-class yachts and one midrange boat are this year and two luxury yachts for 2019.

Since the total number of boats cruising the Galapagos is strictly controlled by the Galapagos National Park, seven older and lower priced vessels will be retired from service. The good news is that there have never been so many new high-quality vessels staffed with the best guides and chefs, but on the negative side, the price of the average cruise to the Galapagos is going up significantly with the new yachts coming on line.

Without further ado,  here are the newest yachts in the Galapagos for 2018 and 2019:

Endemic

Among the newest catamarans to debut on the Galapagos waters, the M/C Endemic spares no expense in luxury and style, combining comfort with an excellent crew ready to make your Galapagos cruise unforgettable. As a catamaran, it offers extra stability compared to other yachts. Each room has a private balcony, panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, and a private bathroom, plus individually controlled air conditioning.

The public spaces feature a modern design, including a panoramic sun deck with lounge chairs and a Jacuzzi, a bar and lounge, and a comfortably furnished TV lounge, great for nightly briefings or just relaxing. The menu draws from local and international fare to provide a gourmet buffet for every meal. Plus, the kayaks and snorkeling gear are provided! There are a number of itineraries to choose from, including both long and short trips.

The Endemic gets excellent reviews from travelers and is frequently booked ahead of time. Check availability early before it fills up!
