Activities
Explorations
Lucky to have such an exclusive location on the central island of Santa Cruz, our visitors are able to enjoy easy access to some of the most acclaimed National Park visitor sites and beaches. The exclusive 100-foot private yacht, Pikaia I, is the headliner of our explorations. This unique vessel offers its visitors safety, luxury, and relaxation on every day-tour expedition. At Pikaia Lodge we offer guided full-day and half-day tour programs that explore the unique landscapes and marine wildlife of the islands.
These programs last four, five, and eight days. Every morning before taking off on an adventure, our experienced guides plan out different adventure options based on weather imagery and tide charts generated through satellites. Our programs include activities such as hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, visiting beaches, volcanic craters, or lava tunnels; looking for giant tortoises and endemic wildlife; and visiting the Charles Darwin Scientific Research Center or visiting organic coffee farms in the highlands to see how the indigenous people live. We also offer a unique fishing tour experience on our smaller boat, the Pikaia II (35 foot fishing boat) on our half-day tours.
