Playa Ochoa is located just an hour by boat from San Cristobal Island and serves as a subtle introduction to the Galápagos Islands. It features an easy wet landing followed by a short trail to a beautiful white-sand beach ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
Overhead, pelicans and other seabirds can be seen gliding through the sky. Just behind the beach lies a small tidal lagoon, home to a variety of birds including the rare Chatham mockingbird.
