Facilities & Accommodation

'Tip Top II' was totally renovated in 1986, 1998 and 2006 ensuring she continues to live up to her name. She is owned by Rolf Wittmer and his family who also operate the 'Rolf Wittmer Foundation', supporting local Galapagos communities. Rolf was the first person to be born in the island of Floreana, experts don´t come much more genuine.

'Tip top II' offers a generous amount of communal space both inside and out. Dining area and lounge with bar feature nautical décor and TV/Video player. The upper deck with teak flooring is a great space to take in your surroundings with explanations from your ships naturalist guide. All cabins incorporate private bathrooms with hot shower. Sleeping arrangements are in twin or double berths. Active passengers can take advantage of the sea kayaks and snorkeling equipment to get an even closer look at the unique creatures of the Galapagos.
